Museum Beach Lunch Tour St.Maarten – St.Martin

Discover our Islands History,Flora & Fauna

During this half day tour for all ages we will visit and enjoy our island’s museums, St. Maarten National Heritage Museum (Dutch side) and Amuseum Naturalis (French side). We’ll have a beach lunch at a French beach restaurant.

The Museum Beach Lunch Tour is a great, educational and delicious opportunity to see the island’s museums, hear all about her history, flora and fauna and visit a French beach restaurant for a refreshing lunch.

All our tours have a maximum of 6 guests, if your group is larger check out our Private Tour section. Our vehicles are air conditioned.

We’ll have cold water, and serve iced lemongrass tea with a piece of our homemade banana bread during our snack break.

Detailed description of the Museum Beach Lunch Tour:

Depending on the weather, the size and level of fitness of the group we’ll  visit the following sites while driving around the entire island sightseeing both the Dutch and French side:

St. Maarten National Heritage Museum
      The St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation, is a non- profit organization that was established on October 4, 1993 as the result of a merger between the
St. Maarten National Park Foundation and the St Maarten Museum Foundation.
The St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation and Museum aim to promote, protect and study every aspect of the history, culture and natural environment of the island St. Maarten and its surroundings

Amuseum Naturalis
Amuseum Naturalis is a free museum of the nature and heritage of St. Martin. Come share what makes this island so special!
Discover the animals that live in St. Martin and nowhere else in the world, and the traditional building techniques that give local homes their unique charm. Take a botanic walk to learn how native trees have adapted to life on St. Martin, and enjoy three beautiful viewpoints. Find out how African and Amerindian heritage comes together in Caribbean farming and bush medicine traditions.
 Guests are invited to make visits to the outdoor areas, including the open-air Amuseum exhibit hall, and outside exhibit areas, viewpoints and gardens including the agriculture heritage displays, bush tea garden, and the St. Martin poetry exhibits.
Amuseum Naturalis is located at the historic Old House in French Quarter.
